CAE MC401. or. TC Electronics spark mini boost pedal ?

Im looking a boost pedal, gotta be single control knob, provide good level of boost and sound good. Which of the two pedals in the title would you go for and why ?

Saying the spark is bright makes me curious, in an online clip another user says it is neutral. I know the cae adds brightness and this isnt necessarily a good thing seeing as i am a tele nut.

Your results may vary and all that. I just found the sparkle to be a touch TOO sparkly

The CAE adds a nice bit of clarity but nowhere near as much sparkle as the SHO. I find it a fairly flat frequency boost.
Can't comment on the Spark.

I like the spark boost, I don't know if the extra brightness is just percieved because of the volume increase. I use mine after a LGW & a Fallout cloud and it plays nice with both. The momentary switch is really useful too.

I use the Spark mini and haven't noticed this brightness issue. Great little pedal.

I've never used either of above - but presuming they are not a flat boost - have you considered the xotic xp booster or cheaper still

I have one of the andoer units and its stupid good for the money - few others on this forum will support too - n if youre not happy send it back ?
