Free tickets....what would you do?

Cut a long story short....we have had 2 tickets for Take That arrive in the post from Ticket factory.

We didnt order them, no money has gone from our accounts, we told TF and they said we'll look into it, but they confirmed that they had been paid for and sent to our address.

No one come back to us, Ive emailed them, called them, Twitter, Facebook, you name it....they dont want to know,...best is, we;re on holiday and cant go anyway !

What to do?

Might be best to send them back for good?

May be more patience with social media contact?

That's quite possible, ...however the danger is that the error gets rectified closer to the gig and the tickets become invalid when you get to the door....that's a risk someone would have to take....That

Wis'd, a friend of the family had their car stolen, it was returned a couple of days later with a letter apologising stating it was an emergency and along with the letter were flowers and tickets to some show or other. They went to the show and when they got back home they found it ransacked, nigh on everything taken. There's some bloody clever criminals out there!

You mean there are some bloody stupid marks out there. That con has been around since at least the 1950s.

The real problem is what to do if you're actually not going to be at home anyway. I would probably get a friend to be very visibly in your house for the whole evening. Or maybe let the police know, just in case they feel like coincidentally being in the area...

Donate them to any local group, society, whatever that you know are going to put a raffle on. Could always shove them on facebook and give the proceeds to charity.
