I like the look of these - could be a decent base for some pickup upgrades etc. Cheap too - which may, of course, mean that they are total shite, but Cort generally produce playable guitars.

Can't find any reviews and few dealers seem to stock them....

My local one store had a non bigsby version maybe twin pickup version but I am usually pretty happy on Cort stuff they make good guitars for the money IMHO

Technically it may be the wrong body wood or maple neck but they play nd sound fine and if you do some pickup swaps you can probably nail the sound and get a good playing guitar.

Not bad at all. A little generic but I've played a hell of a lot worse that cost more. The pickups sounded good but lost a lot of sparkle with the volume backed off so better pots might be an early mod. Tuning not brilliant but I doubt the guitar had seen a workbench so a good set up might cure that. Same with the relatively dry fretboard.

On a side note I have a Cort Sunet II and it's superb, one of the guitars I keep advertising then withdrawing every time I play it.

Always liked the look of the Sunset 1 & 2. Rarely see them come up for sale second hand though, so haven't had the chance to pick one up

I don't think so. I couldn't even remember his name and I'm sure it's been a long, long time since we last heard anything of the Ghost guitar project. Funny what your brain drags up but that Cort certainly reminded me of the Ghost.
