iRig Pre?

Anybody used the iRig Pre for recording stuff, particularly bands? I just bought one with my remaining Thomann vouchers, to go with my Sony Xperia Z. The plan is to shove a condenser on the end of it (probably my SE2000, with the pad switch on -10dB) and use it to record the band at rehearsals.

Of course, it would have been a sensible move for me to ask this before I bought it, but since it effectively only cost me a tenner I'm not especially worried...
