Needs some form of tap tempo, subdivisions will help. Smaller the better..... go!

It's not that small, but the Strymon DIG fits all the criteria here. I'm considering getting one myself.

Yeah it certainly does. Sounds pretty incredible too. The only draw backs are size, price and power

  • Strymon Brigadier, footprint not too bad, and you can dial in some old school + expression pedal parameters control on the fly. But Strymons do need minimum 250ma

TC Nova repeater. Good and cheap. Happens to be one in the classifieds too. ;-)

I play guitar and take photos of stuff. I also like beans on toast.

Actually a really underrated pedal... however you can take your 12v and beat it :)

Didn't even know that was a pedal company! Sounded pretty decent but I'm not sure I'm cool enough for a pedal like that :/

The pedal is to compliment an El Cap (plus size is an issue) so was kinda thinking along the lines of a flashback or does a DD7 do modulation? In fact what about one of those new EHX Canyons? The mod sounded pretty good

    El Capistran.
OBNE Black Fountain is killer if you like wobbly delay. It's my favourite delay.

It takes 9 or 12v. I'd agree though an underrated pedal.

I really liked the modulated delay on the Hardwire dl8 delay. It sounded very pretty and was the stand out feature on it IMO. I eventually got rid of mine and replaced it with a Boss dd7. The dd7 modulation wasn't anywhere as nice as the Hardwire though.

  • El Capistan with Brigadier stack well and open up doors, Flashback okayish . . my son uses one for two settings plus the loop. The stompswitch can be iffy.  The side mount jacks can impact on footprint, built his board and standard pedal orientation had similar footprint to Strymon, ended up using Lava jack-plugs, pancake jacks would also help

I love the modulation with the Modern setting on the SDD 3000 pedal. Why I bought one again having stupidly sold the first one. But definitely not small...
