Help; Recording my band live

hey guys

im looking into recording my band live in our rehearsal room onto my fostex 4 track.
However it only has two inputs so I'm wanting to know which two microphones are going to best for what we need:

1 for the guitar and bass and maybe drum machine or/and
and 1 for vocals and drum machine.

Its only for our demo so not wanting to get a bigger mixer or anything but willing to spend around the 100-120 mark for the two mics, second hand.

The inputs are just 1/4 jacks but willing to use xlr adapters and such but no phantom power.

Thanks!

Record the drum machine first, then overdub using one mic for the vocals and another for the guitar and bass, while listening to the recorded drum machine rather than the live one. It should be no less 'live' playing to a recording of a drum machine than the real thing, you're just hearing its output from the Fostex instead of from the drum machine itself.
