Helix & Bass - Hints & Tips

I've been using Helix with Bass for quite a bit now - I'm getting some great sounds, but I'm still tinkering a lot. 

I know there's some proper hard-core power users here and so I'd welcome any hints and tips you might have for squeezing absolutely the best sounds out of the Helix for Bass. Things like:

- What are your global eq settings?
- How are you using compression? Which ones? Which settings?
- How are you using effects?
- How are you using paths, snapshots etc..?
- Which cabs, how are they set up, what mics etc.?
- What amps, what settings etc.?

And of course, any other pearls of wisdom you could share...

Leave global EQ alone - let it handle any specific room/'fuck I'm using a different cab today' type stuff.
