Highway 1 - Advice Needed Please.

Having had a Highway 1 a good few years ago I was looking around for another one as I regret selling it.

Above is a link for one on ebay, but it just doesn't seem cosmetically the same as the one I had before, and as such I'm not sure if it's kosher.

Any thoughts please?

He does say in the ad that it has a changed neck, pickups/plate and bridge so it's really a highway one body with some other parts.

That one is basically just a partscaster. Neck seems legit earlier Mexican, body its hard to tell. Could be a highway one but would need pics of the cavity.

I would stay clear and wait until a unmolested highway1 appears.

Can I call my partscaster a Custom Shop because one of the saddle screws came from one?

A bits o caster and I dare say £280 is to much as it stands - you'd struggle to get £280 if broken down in to parts - so I suggest look elsewhere

The Highway One series ended around 2009/ 2010 (I've seen some with 2010 serial numbers). If it were an umolested Highway One body it would be satin, though they do go shiny where they are in contact with clothes, arm etc. If it is genuinely from 2015 then it is not a Highway One - could be an American Special body (the HWY1's successor) or pretty much any black Strat shaped object - needs internal photos to confirm.
