Aerosmith Woodstock '94

I finished the Aerosmith Autobiography I was reading - very good. 
Just been watching a shedload of their live performances. This one was mentioned in the book:



Really amazing. You can chuck all your electric fusion and acoustic tapping out the window - this is what I really love. I'd go as far as to say the sound and show are better than most G N' R gig videos I've watched - and I'm a major G N' R fan! I think if I'm lucky enough to get to the G N' R and Aerosmith gigs this year, Aerosmith might actually be better. Brilliant!

(As a side note, the side video is RHCP at Slane Castle which I've never watched before and is also awesome)

Fantastic live band. I've heard they're not what they used to be but I caught their Hyde Park gig in 06 or 07 and it was phenomenal.

That's what they kept saying in their autobiography... that they're a live band more than anything else. Love 'em!

The Aerosmith South of Sanity live album is rather good too. 

On the subject of rhcp Slane is something of a high water mark for them. John was in fire for that tour. I worked security at loads of their gigs, they're REALLY hit or miss.

Amazing find..... thanks.

I caught them at Wembley Arena on the Nine Lives tour in '97 . They are the sole reason I need ear protection at gigs these days.....I couldn't hear properly for days.
