UK made (1996) Vox AC30 TBX with original Celestian Blue speakers. As you can see it's a limited edition finished in 'fawn', only 61 'TBXT's ever made like this! Same batch as the limited purple or red ones. Check http://www.voxshowroom.com/uk/amp/ac30tbxp.html for details.

It sounds miles ahead of any of the post-2004 handwired ones (I've done several direct comparisons and the 90's Vox's are in a different realm) but I need something more portable. The amp works perfectly and has had no problems. Excellent condition, no marks on the tolex, original footswitch included as well as a Hot Covers cover worth £50. Amp bought from new in England.

Doesn't get much better than a mid-90's UK-made AC30 with blues in excellent condition ...AND limited edition finish - a real collectors item.

Thanks for interest guys, had a few decent offers, but have been thinking a fair bit, and as I love the amp so much and am more than likely to end up buying another at some point .... AND because its a sought after, discontinued, limited edition amp in excellent condition I have decided to keep for now (no rush to sell) until get an offer I can't refuse, which inc. the cover is probably at least £900

I love the fawn finish on these, AC30's have never looked better IMHO.

Vox Showroom is incorrect though.  I highly doubt there were only 61, and they also weren't made only from 95-96.  My most recent fawn one was from 2003 for example.

I think your asking price is fair though - mine went for £870 last year, I only sold it as I found another 60's JMI, and these sound as good as the originals.  I think you're right to keep it!
