How do I achieve this finish

Hi, I'd like to archive this finish on my Gibson Les Paul special faded,which I've stripped already.
i was giving to go for a vintage/Olympic white (old Gibson SG/LP look)
but now I really fancy an old LP special sunburst, but I'm not 100% sure how to achieve it ?
it seems to be opaque to my eyes either bleached or sprayed white/cream to obscure the grain.
Is anyone out there, that knows how to get this finish.

I'm going to be spraying this finish on a Les Paul Junior very soon.

I'll be using a solid yellow for the centre, tobacco brown for the 'burst and clear medium brown for the back, sides and neck with a tinted lacquer all over to add an aged look.

My sprayer bleached one for me to get the bright yellow centre.  Rustins 2-part wood bleach.

it worked brilliantly.  I will get pics a bit later

quicker than waiting years for the mahogany grainfiller to seep through the yellow
