George Dennis GD90 questions

So I'm looking at a George Dennis GD90 on ebay (volume/chorus).

Are they any good?

I have the volume/tremelo. It's ok, there's no pot to go crackly or wear out, but it does sound a little brighter than the straight guitar signal, almost the opposite to a traditional passive volume pedal.

Internally it looks pretty cheap and nasty, so although it works very well and never let me down in the short time I used it, it never looked or felt that trustworthy to me.

In fact thanks for the reminder, I must get rid of it!

I had the volume/distortion - I'd bought it just for the volume, although the distortion was pretty decent, just a bit gainier than I really needed. Only moved it on because I massively downsized my board but it served me well, never had any problems with it. Seemed pretty solid all round.
