What was the problem mark?
Was the hum anything to do with the filter cap which appears to be tacked between the circuit board and some other point (not visible) on the lower left side of the pic?

Don't like the wire crossing the high power resistor but then I have no idea how hot it gets.
Those yellow capacitors are of a type approved by our very own Post Office for telephone ring tone feeds and as such are likely pretty everlasting. But yes good but I still think 'our' Artisans are prettier! So, no ceeegar.

I've seen PRs which hum due to poor grounding of the main filter cap which grounded by soldering to the chassis. Quick but not ideal.
re the chassis pics, this more or less copies Fender's layout, ie not ideal but easy to assemble.
For example the signal ground is not ideal.
