It's great, a bit tricky to play if your used to the larger more traditional organ style bass pedals, Moog Taurus, Korg, Roland, Studiologic ones etc, as the key area you tap with the foot seems smaller. You do get used to it though and the (lack of) size is brilliant. Lighter, smaller, cheaper and more versatile than other bass pedals although you need a midi sound triggered source, synth or soft synth as the 12 Steps a controller rather than an instrument in it's own right.

    Thanks for those comments.
I've got Ketron full-sized pedals and a Minitaur just now, along with a Roland SH-32 and a couple of low-end keyboards.
The Ketrons don't have foot controlled MIDI channel nor preset switches, though, so they're a bit limited.
I've been looking at the Roland ones, but then these KMIs appeared on the scene.
I think a downside is that they do need an add-on box to interface to standard DIN MIDI devices.
