I'm after a budget reverb to use on a new acoustic board. Looking at the likes of Donner, Mooer, Tone City etc. Any recommendations? Just want a room/hall setting really.

I picked up a Marshall Reflector new on ebay for £35 -

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Marshall-RF-1-Reflector-Reverb-Electric-Guitar-Effects-Pedal-No-Battery-Included-/162466849574?hash=item25d3c76326:g:XkkAAOSwpDdVAfFD

Does a really nice job. 2 Spring settings, hall, plate, room and reverse. Also option of adding an expression pedal.

Another vote for the Reflector - I'd had mine for 7 years now and it's still going strong.

Biyang Triverb. With a bit of effort you can nail the Fender amp reverb sound exactly.

    These sound great.
Mine wasn't especially long-lived but it sounded great for the year or so I had it.

I checked that out, it was more ambiance/shimmer style than fender spring to my ears. Not for me, but not bad.

I have two reflectors on separate boards. Both stay on spring 2, I just adjust the length and damping to taste depending on application.

Great. No hiss or hum and a range of reverbs to work with from Room to Cavern. Solid build but no Battery. It does the Shads Apache thing well but if you want more spring then the MOSKY MP-51 Spring Reverb is your thing - clone of the Malekko-omicron-spring at a tich of the price@ £23

Save a few £ more, and get a used MXR M300.
They're around £80 used.  Awesome pedal, I've tried loads, it's hands down the best reverb pedal I've heard.

Bit of a left field suggestion maybe - the new Mooer Echoverb which is, err, delay and reverb in one tiny box. Use either or both together.

£80 used?? For that pedal, 80 quid is an absolute steal.

The last one on eBay sold for about £160, so I'd love to know where @TheMarlin shops!

As it's for an acoustic board Mooer do a Woodverb, targeted at the acoustic person. Surely that must tick the boxes here?

@john_r - The Mosky is on my list to acquire regardless of the fact I have a good reverb in the Snake Bite and also the Rowin Analogue Echo which gives some wonderful reverb/slapback + ambients too.

Some Mooer pedals are brilliant (Black Triangle fuzz, and RAT clone), others lees so.  Do your research.

(As I posted this am on another Reverb thread) - TRex Tonebug Reverb seems to be well thought of.
Imagine something sharp and witty here ......

How much in-depth editing will you need?

Secondhand Alesis, Lexicon, Roland, tc electronic and Yamaha units abound.
