Reimagining pop songs on lead guitar

Hey guys,
recently ive been trying to think outside the box a bit so I've gone outside my comfort zone and started figuring out pop songs and transferring the melodies to guitar. I think it's actually helped my ear loads and some of them work pretty well! Here's a few examples, anyone else do this?

Nice one, I thought the Harry Styles one worked particularly well. It's a really good thing to do as it's not just playing a melody but using all the expressiveness to make it sound right, trick I think is to use loads of dynamics and don't be afraid to go "off" and explore a little. Not that it's something I can do particularly well mind!

Jeff Beck is the king for me here.

This live version of A Day in a Life blows my mind, the dynamics he uses from about 40 sec to the minute mark culminating in "that" note at around 1:03 is as expressive as a human voice.
