Kingsleys and 12AX7s

I have a bunch of Valve driven ODs that use the 12AX7 valve...Tungsol methinks.

The Simon pedal maker guy is happy with these valves but I was a wonderin' what YOUR choice of valve would be in an OD like this...I'm always chasin' the tone I suppose, so is there anything better you think?

    yes, old Mullards. The Tung Sols are fine. Mullards are fantastic in the Kingsley pedals or indeed anywhere
