Tokai TWB-20 pick up

Hi,
I'm looking to swap out the original bridge pick up on my Aria Pro II XL for the TWB-20. However, the Tokai only has 3 wires, whereas the original (and every wiring diagram I can find) show 4 wires.
Also, I don't know whether the TWB-20 is intended for bridge or neck placement.
Question #1 - Can I determine which position the pick up is intended for?
Question #2 - Could anyone point me in the direction of a suitable/relevant wiring diagram?
I have searched for '3 wire Humbucker pick up wiring' and for the actual pick up model itself and not found anything 'useable'.
The 'XL' has a coil tap, off of the tone pot.
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Ash.

Probably the coil split wire. Treat it like the middle two wires of a 4 conductor pickup and just insulate it if you don't intend to do anything other than series wiring.

1 - I'd start with coil spacing - anything exceeding 50mm is likely bridge, failing that take a resistance, if it's over 8.5k is likely to be a bridge
2 - just use any wiring diagram for a two conductor (braided) wire and ignore the split wire (take resistance readings between the wires to work out which one is the split)
