El Cap/Möbius/presets etc

At the risk of sounding naive :) I have an el Capistsn and a möbius and I would like to use some modulations with a different delay etc. Obviously the El Cap isn't midi enabled so is there any way that I could do this? Maybe my only choice is to get a timeline for example which has midi so I could save presets between the two.

Shame cos I do like the El Cap but find the lack of presets except combined with my favourite switch which gives me 2 then, a little frustrating but not the end of the world etc ;)

  • Hmmm not many responses. Maybe my only option is to get a timeline after all. It would make my board neater. Am I talking myself into it :)

The only thing I can think of would be to experiment and see if any combinations of leaving the knobs alone but reaching down between songs and just flippig toggles to different settings (heads, subdivisoins), combined with tapping in the new tempo/subdivision would achieve what you need.
tbh I'm quite impressed that you can do the favourite switch thing at all to get TWO settings :-)
    Red ones are better.

  • Put both pedals in a loop. This way they are out of the signal path when off and you can switch them both in together when you need them.

  • Is that using their midi functions?

  • Not if you use a simple loop pedal. You could have the mobius sound ready to go with the ElCap on and ready. Hit the looper and they are both in the signal path and on. If you want to control the looper by midi you will need a midi looper which Disaster Area make but not cheaply. LOL. PM me if I am not making sense.
