Lava cable ok to use?

I've got quite a bit of unused lengths of Lava Tightrope cable that I was hoping to use on a soldered connection. Would there be any reason why I shouldn't be using this type of cable that is usually used for solderless connections etc?

Other than it being very fiddly to work with
personally more hassle than it's worth giving the cost of normal cable

Why more fiddly? Stiffer maybe you mean?

It's thinner than ordinary instrument cable so a bit loose in jack plugs. No strain relief.

It will have a lave tightrope jack on one end and soldered onto 1/4 inch connector at the other end under the board wont move etc

A good quality patch cable would cost a couple of quid cut one end off and solder it to the 1/4 connector
You can do it with the lava cable but why would you for the sale of a couple of quid
Unless you do this kind of stuff a lot and you are happy unpicking the lava cable
