I'm after one of the springs that goes in a strat bridge before the arm to keep the arm in place. Like this:

Even with the Vaseline trick, I've managed to lose the spring @Sweepy so kindly sent to me. Anyone have an open pack they'd be willing to sell to me?

Beware they don't fit all bridges - I put one in a MIM Strat and it fell straight through!

They're generally available on eBay; I'm thinking that having one may not be enough, especially if you unscrew the trem arm when you put your guitar in its case...
