I've made my pedalboard too big

I've been very patient making myself a "my first pedalboard" all cut nice, sanded, painted, Jack sockets/ power socket installed and all velcro on (my god that stuff is expensive).

As per my recent thread on effects this is a home use board and for a few effects, so I ordered a mini tuner and a looper from thomann to go on there and my god are they tiny, so it turns out at 60cm wide and 30cm deep this board is too big, really didn't think this one out, in my head pedals were pedal size (boss size) nope not the case.

Live and learn I guess. :D

I think the word mini is the clue. Anyway it just means you have room for future PAS which will get you soon enough, next thing you'll need a bigger board.

Just space the pedals out more. That way you can get more drunk without hitting the wrong pedal.

I mean these things are tiny (and quite cute apparently according to the girl in work). I'm going to have to put pedals I'm not using on the board just to fill it up I think :D

Turn one end of the board into a guitar stand and drinks holder.
Maintained it for 20 years. This old guitar's had 17 new necks and 14 new bodies in its time.

I think I'm going to chop the board a bit once I've got the layout sorted.

Once you start down the pedal path you'll soon be saying the board's not big enough.

Would you answer an audition for 'guitarist', and turn up with your bass?....

Guitarists play guitar, bassists play planks of wood with rope on.

Guitarists widdle away in a technical speedobate whereas bass guitarists are musicians who play bass?

You are obviously approaching this problem from the wrong angle. You dont have too big a board, you do however have not enough pedals.

The fact you just called it a bass, and not a bass guitar, just answered your own claims  widdle, widdle.

    Shorthand.

Bit like the shorthand for guitar is "That flipping bloody stringed thing that's sitting in the corner staring at me with a smug look on its face and one day I bloody well will learn smoke on the water"
