FS: Taylor 714CE, Spruce/rosewood

Hi all,

 

I’m selling my Taylor 714CE, spruce/Rosewood combo, from 2012, with original hardcase. It is a fantastic guitar acoustically and has the Taylor expression system for live use. It has been gigged, but not abused. Reason for sale is someone let me try their high-end Martin…and I am slowly discovering what type of sound I like. No critique of the Taylor sound itself.

It also has new Elixir strings on it and has been recently set up.

Anyone wishing to do so can come to Birmingham (I am also in Nottingham on certain days) and try it out.

 

I’m asking £1,600, or possible trades/part exchanges for the right martin-style OM.

I had a 816 that I miss and sort of regret getting rid of it. 
It was a great guitar.


I think taylors are very underated for some reason.

I used to have a Taylor, think it was entry level 110. Now I have a Larrivee L-05 which is a lovely guitar, but I still look back to those Taylor days, and if the right x14CE came along I would try a change. Any interest? (I'm in France so courier necessary) PM me if you like.

Any interest in a mint Larrivee OM40 with Spruce top and Mahogany B&S, and original case? It has a Schertler pickup system fitted and sounds superb both acoustically and plugged in.  See the review here:

Hi.
As much as Larivees  are awesome, my Martin OM fulfills my needs for now. I'd consider a parlar but that's about it. Otherwise its cash all the way.
