Small board / multifx / backup

So the festival and wedding gig season has started and it occurred to me I made a mistake selling my amplifire mini board. - it doubled as a backup and was handy for gigs when space is really tight or I need to get on and off super quickly

So i could stick a few pedals on a mini pedaltrain or get another little multi.    I'm leaning towards the latter for ease of use.
Ideally 3 or 4 footswitches with decent clean/edgy:crunch/lead tones.

Any suggestions?

Zoom G3. I use one for rehearsals and as a backup for my main board. It has three buttons, some excellent effects and surprisingly good amps sims for the price. You can pick one up second hand for around £60.

I've hooked mine up to a TechU Midi Moose and can just jump to individual patches like a pedalboard.

Zoom G3  was the only multi FX I've got on with.

Or stripe down to the basics and make a small board* with Boss pedals (relatively compact and mostly bomb-proof).

*IE have 1 drive, 1 modulation and maybe 1 delay (dependant on your setlist needs......

Thanks chaps.   I was thinking a fly rig or trex soulmate but the Quattro is a good unit I'd forgotten about and I'll check the zoom out.

I didnt realise there are now more versions of the flyrig - Brit and Cali - they look nice.

Tried them all- the Quattro is a level above, plus it's got 5 FX you'll actually use!

The Boss ME80 is pretty damn good. Like every boss pedal in a box as it uses all the same tones.

A small Boss pedal box with an sd1 overdrive, bd2 blues driver and a dm2w delay does the trick for me.  It's simple reliable and will run off batteries fine.

    I'll check out some videos.

Of course what what I should have done is not sold my El cap and Flint last week and instead added the sunset to make a mini board.
