It was difficult to decide because both are great and occupy very different styles.

I'll go for:

5 points @IMC1980 . Great headbanging stuff. A classic sounding rock riff. Strange that you called it "F# Chug", because it's in F (unless my ears deceive me).

3 points @steamabacus . Perfect for a nice sunny day like today. Very much in your distinctive style.

Ha! Yes you're quite right @stratman3142 - All my guitars live in Eb tuning, so whilst I am playing F# on my guitar, it is actually F. I tend to forget they are half a step down!

It's warm and sunny here so my scores are:

5 points @steamabacus ; - a mellow, almost acid jazz feel and a riff that gets in your head .. I've been humming it ever since .. nice job.

3 points @IMC1980 - excellent chuggy metal riff .. I could see that being used in a song

1 point  @stratman3142 - that was manic, like a machine gun - very inventive. Not heard anything quite like that before.

This is a tough call; I love @steamabacus 's vibe, but @stratman3142 's riff reminds me of the games I used to play on my C64 in the 80s! 

After careful consideration:

5 points @stratman3142 - love the synths in this, you have managed to encapsulate childhood videogame memories into this clip, it is bursting with energy.

3 points @steamabacus - perfect laid back weekend vibe, very very close this month....

Wow, these 3 are top quality and all in completely different genres. I would seriously split the 9 points on offer 3 ways if it was allowed, Lol.
