What's Hot

soaking warm salt water always used to work for me, but needed to be done asap before washing................but as you've already washed it in "hot" water, unlikely to know work... or little devil stain removers - they're pretty good

Fill your nose up with Silver-nitrate. That will cauterize it.

Or even better - get a doctor to do it for you. Hurts like... getting a burning liquid poured into your nose. Funnily enough.

Firstly, get a new handkerchief, they ain't expensive.

Second, if you're having repeat nose bleeds, go see your doctor. Something's wrong.

yes you're right but at the time I was not able to do that, and it had dried on. I have in the past been lucky enough to soak in warm salt water before it got dry but not this time ...

I had a cauterise procedure done on NYE after suffering nose bleeds. Walked out of the hospital and immediately had a nosebleed! But the cauterising procedure was painless, and I haven't had any since.

Oh, a very special one then, I just used my sleeve when my old man died, I've got some hankies somewhere just never use the things.

Keeping a snot filled rag in my pocket just seems wrong, as I suppose is using ya sleeve. :-/
