Re fret cost

i have been using a borrowed takamine esg 45SC for some acoustic gigs recently. Unfortunately it is in need of a re fret. Just looking at the cost involved and if it is worth doing.

anyone have any idea of what a re fret would roughly cost on this guitar?

There's one on Gumtree for £140.  You could probably haggle that down to £125 or less.  Living in London there is nowhere that would do a full refret for that kind on money.

Does it need a full refret?  Most of us don't often go past the 8th fret on an acoustic anyway.  A partial refret might be an option.

If it's a borrowed guitar shouldn't it be up to the owner to decide if it gets a refret?
