It's here:

https://www.fulltone.com/products/ocd-v2

The OCD has received many slight tweaks over the last 12 years, often incorrectly identified as “version 2, Version 3, V4, etc.” In reality there has always been only one version…Version 1, with very slight variations after that making them V1.1 through V1.7. Today marks the release of a very new OCD, different enough that it warrants a V2 designation, an explanation and warrants a trip to your favorite dealer to give it another listen. Not a subtle change when turned on…not a subtle change when turned off (in E.B. mode).

And the older version OCDs are going for £99 at Andertons on clearout.

Jeeze! As if the first OCD wasn't hyped enough.
I don't get the love for them, I think they sound very unnatural.

They must work into certain amps, just not the one I've tried it with.

    :)

I have a 1.7 version OCD. I pump it into a Victory V40 and it sounds like an over-driven amp. It can sound OK. Some people like them.

Wow. A smaller logo, new jack location AND a buffer. Form an orderly queue!

I love the OCD, V1.7 was my favourite yet. Easily the best boost into a Mesa amp i've used and also sounded colossal with my Brunettis.

They get a lot of online hate, but in a modern rock band they are one of the best drives you can buy.

I wouldn't say unnatural, but yep, I don't get the hype either. In fairness I have heard others get good things from them but I just prefer a TS or variant.

Each to their own but I think it sounds excellent with every amp I've tried it with.

Its different enough to warrant keeping this and a mid humped pedal (AC Booster) on at the same time.

Not only that, but apparently he invented "enhanced bypass". Which seems to be an FET class A buffer at slightly more than unity gain. I can't imagine anyone ever thought of that before.

There's no doubt about it, the smaller logo makes a huge difference to the sound. It adds clarity and sustain like you wouldn't believe.

Wasn't fulltone one of the "buffers are evil, true bypass is the only way" guys?

    As are Guitar Guitar.

I've always noted quite a few people dislike these or comment on the sound but I've had one for years (it's my main overdrive) but I think, and I've been told, I get a good sound from mine and it stacks really well with an 808 type pedal or having an EP Boost into it.

They work well in the lower gain ranges but sadly, 2 stacked together with different gain settings do not work.

I'm keen to try the new version or even nab the the old version as a spare (the switches do go on these) :(

Yes, up until they figured they could make money out of buffers, I guess. They have form with that, too- if I remember correctly, they said Fuzz Faces were awesome right up until they ran out of the NOS transistors they needed to make their Fuzz Face clone, and then suddenly there was a whole raft of problems with Fuzz Face-style fuzzes which only their new fuzz, which totally coincidentally didn't require those now-unobtainable NOS transistors, solved. EDIT: Huh, they seem to have those FF clones back in stock, maybe they found some more transistors? I can't really remember what that fuzzface-beater fuzz was, but I think this might be it https://www.fulltone.com/products/mas-malo
