Just thought I'd share that.

Bought way, way back.  1981.  It's a Yamaha and it lives in its case.

I still remember buying it.  I'd gone to Manchester to look at those new-fangled (at the time) synths, planning on buying one, taking it off to Uni with me where I'd get a weird haircut, wear eye make-up and form a band.

Bought the acoustic instead.

My wife out of the blue suggested that she would like to try and learn about a month ago. Not wishing to turn down an opportunity to purchase another guitar for the stable, I got one that afternoon in Colchester, a Yamaha fg700ms secondhand .
Very nice it is too for £90.

Surprisingly tricky to play to start with too! ;;)
