I have an older iPad. Been thinking about a new laptop generally, but is this a viable option instead? What is the difference of a normal iPad and a Pro?

@Parker not sure on the exact differences as I've never owned any other iPad, but it runs word, excel, etc. Can do multi tasking on different apps as well as split screen, can use one drive, navigate pdfs etc. 

The processing power is a lot better than traditional iPads as is the display & camera. 

It replaced my laptop at work but it very much depends what your work entails I guess, I like it because it's compact & light compared with a laptop.
