I rather like "Jimi Hendrix's Stratocaster" though. It's that sort of factual accuracy that I really enjoy about History Channel documentaries.

He needs more Russian guitars in there.  Or a balalaika in a suspiciously large case, loitering near Checkpoint Charlie in a long black coat...

(Sorry another one of my '80s flashbacks.)

They should do an hour long special on his wig collection, now that I'd watch.

His lawn needs a bit of TLC. Also, when he talks he sounds like Viv Savage, the keyboard player from Spinal Tap.

That was at least more watchable than any of his films.

His acting is as wooden as his guitars.

    He doesn't act.

    He's just in the films.

Yeah I didn't post this cos of his inherent coolness or anything.. Far from it :)

I was, until very recently, unaware of the particular abomination titled:

Steven Seagal feat Lady Saw - Me Want The Punani.

He's got one holy grail item in there for sure -
    Albert Collin's '66 telecaster.
That ain't ever go anything but up in price given its provenance / blues history ?

I always wonder though given these expansive collections, just how many of those vintage instruments would actually knock me for six with their tone / playability?
At some point the collectability overrides the actual tonal merits of the instruments?
I read that John Entwistle used to have Fender models (strats, teles etc..) for every year in every available colour?
    ...she's got Dickie Davies eyes...
