I love the DD500 so will be checking the RV500 for sure.
There's also a GT-1B bass effects processor.
The MD-500 looks awesome. I want it just for the programmable slicer patterns (a feature sadly missing from the original slicer). Also:
- A/B Simul mode for using two patches at once, with your choice of series/parallel connection and mixed or split A/B output
- Insert Loop function allows you to use mod effects before, after, or around drive pedals
Should be able to make some awesome sounds.Boss are killing it recently. So much good stuff coming out.
User manuals are on the Boss site if you want to get a better idea of what they can do.
Any idea yet on prices? There's an Australian site listing the RV-500 at $539AUD, which is £320GBP - over £100 cheaper than a Big Sky.
RV-500, MD-500 and DD-500 plus a couple more pedals in an ES-5, hooked up to a versatile amp would be the absolute shit.

EDIT: It is! Damn. Time to offload a few pedals and make more board space I suppose.
They probably will all be the same price. Imagine having a board with the DD-500, MD-500 and RV-500, that would be pretty sweet.
I bet that would cover most people's verb and delay needs in one!
Oh yes. Hook them up to an ES-5 or some sort of MIDI controller with amp switching and it would be a.ma.zing.

ES5 + DD500 + MD500 + RV500 + PSU + Cables + Board Plus other pedals >£ than Helix / Headrush etc which will be more flexible and easier to use...
But yeah, would still be a great board.
Well, I'm going to be skint again.
I'm sorely tempted by an MD-500 but would want to test the routing options first - I like some mods pre-dirt, others after. Would need to see what's possible.
Had a quick look at the manual. There are a lot of editable parameters up in there.
The insert loop uses the L/mono output to send and R input to receive, so you won't be able to use the unit in stereo with it.
It can be set to on or off, pre or post effects in each patch separately. It can be used in the A/B simul mode, and can be patched in before or after both effects, or in between the two (not quite clear how that works when they're in parallel)
You might even be able to use the Assign function to turn the loop on or off, or to move its position relative to the effects while you're playing.
