Is it me, or are these Yamaha SG prices getting a bit silly?

I'm going to buy every single Ovation Breadwinner in existence and see if I can push the price up to £6k each

Maybe I could set up a gofundme page where people donate their breadwinners...

Them and the guy in ABBA and after that you start to struggle who played an Ovation electric guitar - maybe Glen Campbell and Ace Frehely - think one of the guys on Quo had one - So make it happen - make us all regret missing the chance to buy one at £400 and go for 5K or 6K for a clean one with case - By the way, when they came out the price was comparable to a Gibson LP

Didn't Adrian Legg have a Breadwinner, or a Preacher or something? Ridiculously (and I men vulgar!) over-customised with wiring options....

You'll have to fight @HarrySeven for them...

How much does a breadwinner go for these days?
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

That assumes there is actually anyone else who would want to buy one…

Those Yamaha SG prices are getting as stupid as the Japanese Squier prices.  I had an SG 2000 and whilst it was a superb guitar it was bastard heavy and a little bit unwieldy to be honest.

I didn't personally think it was the holy grail of tone like quite a lot of people who are selling theirs make them out to be.

Just as long as it's not to Silvia's mother :)
One day I'm going to make a guitar out of butter to experience just how well it actually plays.

Once they are £6k they will suddenly hit cork sniffer territory and the "tone" will be marvelled at
