Just a heads up on a maker / repairer friend.

I met and became friends with Guillaume Benoit on the musical instrument making course at Anniesland College in Glasgow ’08 /’10, a fine young man. I took my ol’ Lowden in one day to show him and he made some drawings and measurements of it, little did he know he was destine'd to actually be making them - the rest is history.

He has worked for Jimmy Moon at Moon Guitars and Lowden Guitars in Northern Ireland and has set up shop in Aberfeldy, Perthshire Scotland.
It’s a bit outa the way for many on this forum but if yer ever in the area give him a call and a visit

Looks great, I remember you mentioning him on another forum.

Has he put up many photos of his own builds online?  The impact George Lowden has had on UK guitar making is incredible, some very talented luthiers have 'graduated' on from his workshop.
