*Sold* MSP5 Studio Monitors

Great active mixing monitors in good condition complete with power leads. Collect from Newcastle, Huddersfield or potentially somewhere else as I travel around lots across the North. Postage option £22 but I'll split that with you so add £11 

These are a very high end set of monitors and genuinely not for fannying about with low quality mp3s. Read some reviews, they bring out every detail. 

New these currently go for around £230 each. I'm asking for £120 each or £200 the pair as that makes sorting them easier. 

Trade wise, try me. I'm after a reasonable pa speaker, possibly a sound mixer for the computer and I'm always interested in guitars.

These are great monitors that are worth their weight in... Well, not gold... but maybe copper?

Not 100% sure I need the MSP5s. I was considering the HS5 as more suited to my basic needs.

I have both of these monitors The HS5s at my G/Fs and the MSP5s at my main studio
The MSP5s are light years better. Seriously . no competition. It's the difference between professional and domestic.

Hi @Cabicular ; thanks for the advice - much appreciated. I decided to chance it and go for the MSP5s. Thanks also to @Legionreturns for the speediest courier service you'll get on studio gear!

Have just connected them up. Testing them out with some well recorded old favourites (Porcupine Tree) and some more recent ones (Stephen Wilson solo, the Planetarium album) and they sound stunning. A quick blast of Big Star on a 128kbps mp3 sounded savagely rough! I expected this from the reviews. They're not remotely forgiving - they're not supposed to be.

Have yet to listen to any of my own crap through them. Not looking forward to that!

Smart move mate
Ive had mine for years (Yamaha gave me a set back when I did stuff with them)
My main monitors are Adam A7xs but I still use the msp5s as well They are very honest monitors and I totally trust them
