I was once offered an original painting by one of the Kray twins for a guitar.........and also was offered Nazi memorabilia as trade a few years back.

The best bit of all this is I left feedback stating what the bloke had done and I got a bollocking from eBay oh and the feedback removed, so the feedback system is useless

The feedback said, 3 offers then paid, pulled out as it was his 3rd old that bid apparently stating facts is no longer her allowed

@mikeyrob73 ah I've often seen "feedback removed" I assumed it was because of swearing or similar - not just actual facts.

Turns out nope, I had no swears nothing personal just facts and have just had an email bollocking me and saying it was being removed so disregard any feedback moving forward

Would you have worn it if it had fitted you?
I can't think of many occasions where an SS uniform would be 'de rigueur'.

I think it was maybe the bad grammar that irked the feebay police. Still your point does prove how pathetic feebay can be sometimes!  ;-)

Been a few chuckles reading through this thread. I don't mind cheeky offers - its always worth a try....a cheeky bid can sometimes be accepted. Had a cheeky punter earlier today on my JVM410H on ebay - its up for £575, the guy emails me to say hope I'm not offended but he's got £400 and could come collect tonight or tomorrow with cold hard cash. I just replied God loves a trier - not offended but you're not even close, telling him what I paid for it just 2 months ago (just under £600 with postage). That was the end of that conversation.....

You do know that the ebay app will automatically raise a bit with the tap of a button? It could well have been a child doing it.

@robgilmo did the 3yr old also ask a perfectly typed question and then raise the bid 3 times?

Perhaps dad started the ball rolling, I dunno, I do know that my 1 year old will blindly press buttons on my phone and apps make the buying process easy, even for kids. Was the message automated?

Nope the bids were manually entered mate, you can't just put a bid in without putting the amount your bidding
