This soldering iron any good?

I noticed this in my local LIDL, I always have problems when soldering pick up wires to the back of tone and volume pots.
Will this be powerful enough to do the job?

Not good for what you want to do at all - you need just a standard one without a 'feed' or any of that stuff

You just want a reasonably high power one with a good sized bit for that.  I've got 3 different soldering irons I use for different things.  An 18W Antex for doing pedals, and some higher powered ones for other uses.

That thing looks really awkward. I'd just get a 60-80 watter with a broad chisel tip.

Did a DIY amp and loads of guitar work with it - hot enough, does the trick just fine for £20 or so.

But yeah you definitely want something a bit more nimble than the one above...  Especially if working in a Les Paul cavity

That looks like a terrible idea - feeding solder directly onto the tip. Exactly what you don't want to do for good soldering.

A 25W Antex or maybe slightly higher with a big tip would be much better.
