I have a Fender Jim Adkins that I might let go of, ticks all your boxes, Tele, Thinline, P90s, set neck & 24.75" scale.

Not for me obviously, just asking for a...errr...friend, but if you  were to let that go, what would it cost my...friend?
    £500 with hard case.
That is a very nice guitar there - that a Mexican?
    It's Korean.

Its lovely. Bit of both to be honest @Alnico.

I like the idea of P90s in a semi hollow body, and that just looks very classy. Its the sort of guitar that I wouldn't be able to walk past without picking it up.

I wasn't aware of this model until today... :)

    Agreed.

Such a classy look with that colour too.
    Definitely noted for future.
I'm not sure if I was aware of this model before either.

........and that gloss black headstock face!
    Yes.
Definitely a future guitar for me.

I'm going to have to try those streamliners they look particularly fantastic in the olive green colour and maybe put more traditional style gretsch pickups in.

Yes I'm really tempted to dip into my "next car fund" to buy this. It looks absolutely amazing on the Casino, Inverness green is only available in Europe too much to the dismay across the pond.

Gibson Midtown's can be had for a decent price.  Good pickups and hardware.   Remove g-force to taste but I have to admit it works pretty well.

The midtowns seem to be more used than Thomann were selling them for new?

Did I make this up or is a pickup upgrade not straight forward on a casino (not just because it has to be done through cavities)

See my other thread - the Casino pickups are not the same as standard P90s - the pole spacing is different and the neck pickup is an odd shape.

There are a few custom made ones, but the real way to do it is a rewind..
