Fender case tolex mould

Sounds awful I know but the original case for my old 70s Jazz bass seems to have mouldy spores appearing. My other Fender case is more recent and shows no signs of mould, both are stored in the same room. I'm thinking that the mouldy one has been stored somewhere damp in the past. Any idea how to clean it up whilst removing any mould spores?

Vacuum it first and see

Use some of that clear kitchen cleaner spray, damp down the tolex and leave a few mins. Whipe off with kitchen roll. Repeat. Monitor over winter.
