Might I have damaged my amp?

On my Orange Crush CR60C the speaker cable managed to come lose for a few seconds with the amp turned up LOUD. Once reconnected everything appeared to work fine. I'm worried though - I've read about how not having a speaker connected can damage an amp. Should I be concerned?

For a few seconds it is unlikely anything was damaged.

As far as I understand, most solid-state power amps are not at risk from speakers being disconnected (open-circuit).  What kills them is a short-circuit.

Not at all, SS amps will tolerate open circuit conditions, but not shorts, whereas Valve Amps are exactly the opposite. Just make sure you have sorted out the speaker connection, so it doesn't let you down when gigging.

Oh I didn't realise it was SS, I assumed it was tube.
In that case no problem at all.
