I prefer strats...but wouldn't trust the quality control.  Tough call

The whole point of the Strat was that it was easy to assemble....Surely Gibson couldn't f*ck THAT up....could they?

My first electric was an Epiphone branded strat copy. So that almost puts me in the second bracket already 

But to answer properly: I'm more of a single coil person, so I'd have to say the Gib. strat.

A strat with a brass nut comes to mind. 

Its not hard to screw up a les Paul but they manage
