singapore noodles. salt and pepper squid. Takeaway chinese is shite though - the food doesn't lend itself to being kept warm in a box for ages - always better fresh. if getting a takeaway indian is a better bet.

Are a few Takeaway stalwarts, but of all those I would probably only take a selection from are:

    Sticky Chilli Beef
    Sweet n Sour Chicken balls
    Beef Chop Suey
    Kung Fu Chicken
    Buhudist Monks Mixed Vegetables
    Fried Rice
    Lemon Chicken with Peppers
    Singapore Hot Noodles

But a Friday night after pub/fumble in car staple with the then GF was: Beef Chop Suey, S&S Pork Balls, Pancake Roll and Egg Fried Rice which we split between us for the princely sum of only a fiver!  (Ian Drury and the Blockheads days...) just off Esher High St.  - - Jeez - What I'd give for the sheer simplicity of that /those nights again....

From a local Chinese I would have sweet and sour pork Hong Kong style.
When cooking I make a steamed sea bass with ginger and Chinese mushrooms over Yangzhou fried rice.
Or sesame ginger chicken over Yangzhou fried rice.
