PRICE DROP / Offers welcome: Rare / Vintage (1982) Yamaha FG332 Acoustic Guitar plus hard case

There are not many of these around. I have had it from new bought circa 1982 at Teesside's legendary Guitarzan & Bongo Bill shop in South Bank. It still has the sticker with the 5-digit Eston Grange phone number!

Info is hard to come by ... it is dreadnought size (perhaps a little smaller) has spruce top & mahogany back & sides (laminate?), open tuners.

It is a great player and has a full, warm sound good for strumming and picking. 

It has scuffs, knocks and dings as you would expect. Most are surface. There is a small indentation on the back of the neck but it's not noticeable when playing.

It comes with an Artisan hard case ... also old but fully functional - apart from a loose handle that I shall refasten.

They work, but you've got unnecessary code in your links.

In imgur, right click on the image and select "copy image address".

Back here, click the "insert image/file" button on the toolbar (the thing that looks like a page with the top right corner turned down) and paste the copied image into the pop-up box.


(I looked at the ad because I've got a Yam acoustic, of similar vintage.  It's a great thing, and one of my "never to be sold" guitars!)

What do you reckon to my ask price?
I have no reference to go by due to their scarcity.

I'm happy for a price discussion if anyone else has a notion.

I wouldn't sell mine for that sort of money, but then it's got a lot of "emotional value" to me.


I bought mine from a shop in Mcr.  I'd taken a day off school and jumped the train into Oxford Rd with the intention of buying one of these new-fangled "synth" things to accompany me through Uni.  Saw this guitar, picked it up, sat down and started playing it.  Loved it.  Bought it with my synth cash.  No synth, but I've still got the guitar.  Lovely sounding thing ....
