Hi all
£400. British made guitar. I'm not sure if it's a Jewel or a Retro. I have upgraded the stock pickups to the Oil City Blitz Spirit Customs - using an alnico 4's instead of 2's. I have also added a JJ freeway switch which gives the three standard humbucker positions plus 3 split coil combinations - all hum cancelling. The pots have also have been upgraded.
There are a few marks and dings as shown in the pics.
It's a lovely guitar but I'm playing more bass now and can't justify have 9 guitars and only 2 basses.
On a previous cull it survived and my old Les Paul Traditional didn't. IMO It played better than the LP and had a clean tone I liked. But God did the LP look good.

I must confess that I'm tip toeing round IMGUR but like Dave I have found myself posting up a link to a folder of pics rather than embedding links to individual pics as before
I just can't get over how many quality guitars end up in High Wycombe. For a town with no guitar shops I'm perhaps surprised considering it's a town full of students...
