Back up for sale. I love this guitar but hardly play it and wouldn't mind the funds to invest elsewhere. Given the value and rare nature of the instrument I can't let it go for less than the asking price. There’s a new one of these for sale in Project Music for an eye-watering £6770, which gives you some idea of its value and quality: https://www.projectmusic.net/collings-cw-indian-a-21612-p.asp
Incredible top of the line Collings CW dreadnought from 2007. This is their take on the Clarence White model. Solid Indian Adirondack top and beautiful rosewood back and sides. Enlarged soundhole and slightly scalloped bracing for maximum volume and headroom. This guitar is the ultimate loud 'cannon', and though very suited to bluegrass and country, is an amazing all-rounder. Sounds immense. Super easy to play, strung with 12-54. 9.5/10 condition. I'm asking way less than half the new price at £3K firm. Cash on collection or can meet within reasonable distance of Bristol.
Regarding possible trades I'm after a Collings CJ35, a Waterloo WX14 or other boutique Gibson-style acoustic. I'd also consider boutique vintage-style electrics like Novo, Collings, Fender Custom Shop etc, a decent ES330, or an archtop by The Heritage or similar. Also possibly an amp head from the likes of Morgan, Two Rock, Friedman etc. Cheers!
