Great first day with the traditional TTT kicking it all off.

BMC dominating as usual, but without a real GC contender. Sky only 9 seconds off the pace to possibly begin an historic Tour-Vuelta double for Froomey?

Orica only 17 seconds back, and with Chavez and the Yates twins, certainly have to be in with a shout? Movistar have strength but no obvious GC without Quintana or Valverde.

Looking forwards to the next 3 weeks, and especially the final day in Madrid, coz I are will be there!

The vuelta has everything the tdf lacks, excitement, unpredictability and all out racing. I can't wait for those murderous mountain stages..... especially l'angliru

Stage 2 was pretty meh, at least stage 3 is where the climbs begin.

7.00pm - 8.00pm ITV4 doesn't seem to bad. I'd struggle to see it earlier. Presume that like the TdF it's on ITV4+1 too......

I dunno, that Quickstep move at the end was pretty awesome. And the peloton being stopped by a train was funny.

Storming stage win from Froomey! With an excellent 2nd place for Esteban Chavez.

Hard to see how anyone can challenge those two for the podium, 3rd spot is not so easy to pick but Bertie could well pull out all the stops and retire on a high?

The stage I can't wait for finishes on Los machucos, some guy on yt rides up it and it is totally insane, like riding up a brick wall.
