Was never really sure if he was funny or not, but sad to see another entertainer of old biting the dust.

TBH I'd have assumed he passed away years ago, but 91 not bad. Yes, another celeb we all know and, yes, not really sure I think of him as having been funny at all. I guess he was very much about a particular time and place. But RIP Jerry.

I have to admit that I thought he was gone a long time ago. He was one of those comedians that was very much American humour, the type that doesn't travel well. I always thought it ironic that his best film role was in King of Comedy where (to my recollection) he played a fairly miserable bloke. I have a vague recollection of enjoying Jerry Lewis and Dean martin films as a little kid. RIP Jerry.
