TAKE ACTION!! Don't Wait For Inspiration - SONGWRITING TIP

This is a different approach to songwriting, instead of waiting for inspiration, 

I find it's best to take action and just write and then the inspiration comes after the action.. A lot of advice states it's the other way round.. so i made this video to help you understand this concept -

Me personally, I found both threads a bit too "in my face" and loud. There is something annoying about continually being told what to do...

I don't grudge any young guy offering guitar lessons but once you stray into songwriting territory you really need to know what you're talking about when you start directing others. What makes you feel confident you're qualified to give advice to other people about how they find inspiration?

Oh I don't know, I haven't played the guitar at all today and I haven't broke into the top forty at any point.


I'm going to give his advice a try, fingers crossed for next week!
