Whoever said fifty days, it's time to collect your winnings, as my 'No New Guitars Bought In 2014' lasted that long, until the cruel, vindictive and frankly EVIL @TTony flogged me a guitar I've been tortured by since, well, since MartinW put the extra pickup in shortly after the Spice Girls broke.

I have no excuses.

As for the Haigh it is rather lovely indeed, and almost worthy of the wait.

That was a trade that all worked out rather well.

Mr @Monofin took my Taylor T3 (which he tells me he loves but which I never really bonded with) in exchange for a couple of his lesser-loved guitars.

The first - a rather nice PRS SC is mine all mine and isn't going anywhere because I loves it (sorry @monquixote).

The second - the Haigh SG has finally found its Jooky home, after a lengthy pursuit through many forum hands.

I am consoled by the fact that were you to sell it to me I would play it non stop for a month proclaiming it to be the hounds orbs and then sell it on the classifieds.
