My 2 Customised 'Pimped Up' Guitars

One is a Squier Bullet which was given to me and the other is a Danelectro Dano Pro.
For some reason the white scratch plates looked like a huge hole in these guitars to me so I decided something needed to be done.
The Dano I bought new, but it was £100 less than rrp and was in a bit of a state. The tailpiece wasn't fitted correctly and the machine heads were loose as hell. Obviously, I've replaced both. Then I got the idea of having a sort of WW2 American Bomber Pin Up on it. My daughter did it for me, then I coated it in varnish. The woman is based on my wife. Maybe not quite so soppy as it sounds as we're in a band together and she's the primary songwriter, rhythm guitar and singer.
The Squier I did. It's a mixed media collage. Again, heavily varnished.
Anyway, what do you think? Realise this isn't going to be to everyone's taste. Anyone else done similar?
